What can I store at Karlite Storage?
Boats, RVs, travel trailers, utility trailers, work equipment, and household stuff during a move or a reno. Yard lots take anything you can tow in. The insulated containers are for smaller loads that need to be locked up and kept dry.
What sizes are the yard lots?
There are four sizes: 10 × 20 ft at $75 a month, 10 × 30 ft at $95, 12 × 30 ft at $110, and 12 × 40 ft at $135. Over 40 ft, you pay $5 more per foot per month. All prices are before GST.
How much are the storage containers?
The 8 × 9.5 ft is $100 a month and the 8 × 19.5 ft is $180 a month, before GST. Both are insulated, both lock, and both sit off the ground on gravel so they stay dry.
How much is covered and inside storage?
Covered and inside storage is for boats and RVs only. Both are priced by the total length of what you're storing, measured tongue to tail. Covered is $8.50 a foot per month, inside is $10.00 a foot per month, before GST. A 28 ft rig costs $238 covered or $280 inside.
Do the rates include GST?
No. All prices are before GST, and GST gets added to your invoice.
Do I have to sign up for a year?
No, you do not. Payments are monthly for any type of storage. You can set terms of up to one year for inside storage, and those customers will be prioritized inside the building. Everything else is open terms for length of stay.
How do I pay?
Pre-authorized debit or credit card. Credit cards have a 4% fee, so debit is cheaper.
What if my trailer is longer than 40 feet?
You pay the 12 × 40 ft rate of $135, plus $5 for every extra foot, per month, before GST.
